My name is Maddox Elijah Johnson.  I am 7 years old.  My birthday is August 9th.  I love camoflauge stuff, spy gear, and being with my family.  My favorite foods have changed a lot they are Japenese Steak, Shrimp from Red Lobster, Cornish Hens, and Mashed Potatos.  I am in 1st Grade this year.  I enjoy working puzzles, mazes, painting, and playing outside.  I live in Northern Kentucky (since March 1st).  I have a dog named Nugget and am an only child.  I love going to church and playing with my friends and cousins. 

On March 1st, 2005 we moved to Kentucky to be closer to my family.  We had lived in St. Augustine, Florida and didn't get to see them very often.  We moved into a nice house in a new neighborhood...I was very excited.  I started a new school.  But a few days after living here I didn't feel very well and my mom and dad took me to the doctor.  The doctors thought I may have mono and did some blood test.  Over the next week we tested two times for mono and both tests came back negative.  The doctors then sent us to Cincinnati Children's Hospital where they did x-rays and discovered I had a large mass in my chest.  I was admitted to ICU due to respiratory problems and within a day had the final diagnosis of T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma (non-hodgkins).  My treatment is 108 weeks long.   I have been in the hospital a lot - but my prognosis is great and I know I will be fine!

I am a real trouper and don't complain much other than a few aches and pains here and there.  I pray every day --most days several times a day and know that God is going to get all the Glory from this!!  If you are reading this say a prayer for me today!
